Good Works
The Good Works group will be traveling to Athens, Ohio. This community is facing financial hardship due to lack of work availability and the rise in costs of services. We will be helping our neighbors Ella Holly, Dave Starlin, Sue Lowry, and Dale Dalrymple on various home projects.
· Ella Holly is a long-time participant at Good works. We will assist her by repairing her floor.
· Dave Starlin is a widower who lost his wife and daughter. We will assist him by cleaning his home.
· Sue Lowry loves to listen to other people’s stories. We will be cleaning her home.
· Dale Dalrymple is an outdoors man and does not let an electric wheelchair stop him from enjoying nature. We will be assisting him by clean the trails he uses to enjoy the outdoors.
To better serve them, we have committed to our group goals.
1) To learn about other communities and their lifestyle by being selfless.
2) Get out of our comfort zone while enjoying every moment.
3) Expand our skill set while helping the community.
