WHO WE ARE

The Wackerlin Center serves as a connecting point to a variety of volunteer opportunities in the surrounding community, as well as offers numerous leadership development opportunities for "hands-on" learning experiences that combine service, volunteerism, and personal reflection.

WHAT WE DO

We work alongside students to foster the spiritual needs of all and cultivate understanding and insight. Students of all faiths and none are equally welcomed in our common quest for meaning and purpose. Alternative break trips provide an opportunity for students to engage in community service, learn firsthand those social issues affecting the world around us and deeper explore their own interests and passions. These trips often lead to lifelong friendships, lasting memories and a better understanding of community. AU offers several alternative spring break trips for students to participate in.
